Deviant Syndrome is one of a few russian bands playing Melodic Death Metal, but combining Technical Death and Thrash elements makes their music beyond common standarts of this style.

The band started in 2005 and already managed to earn high praise from critics for demo-album "Pictures of Declared Extinction".

Melomaniacs note extraordinary music ideas, difficult technic solo parts and exuberance of melodies, leading the band into it's own niche of non-stop developing world of heavy music.

By the end of 2009 the band played many concerts as in Russia as abroad, especially marked were gigs together with finnish band Kalmah and norwegian band Pantheon I. 2010 became a year of the most important events in the life of Deviant Syndrome:

  • 2007 - Pictures Of Declared Extinction (Demo)

- the debut album has been finished in summer and now the band is searching for a label to release "Inflicted Deviations";

- DS was confirmed to play at the biggest festival in Ukraine "Global East" with legendary metal bands from all over the world.

Nowdays Deviant Syndrome keeps on active developing it's creative potential and plans to start recording of 2nd album in the beginning of 2011.
